    Description

    One-piece ball gown representing the 1850s-1860s.  Pale mauve poly blend fabric with low sheen.  Bodice with wide off-shoulder neckline; puffed sleeves in black satin with mauve "petal" overlay; black satin waistline trim; back long zipper; black nylon lace around hemline..  Bodice is flat lined with same fabric and side seams are lightly boned.
    Flat measures 19.5 inches at full bust; 16 at waist; 17 nape to waist and 41 inches waist to hem.  Not enough hem to allow lengthening.  Hemline has a circumference of 120 inches and will accommodate a narrow hoop or petticoat.
    True color isn't reading properly in my lighting -- sorry.  The mauve shade is somewhere between the grey and pink shown in the last 2 pics!
    This ball gown was used very gently in a one week production of "Little Women".  It is freshly laundered and ready for your reenactment or theatre use.
