Buffalo HD-LX2.0TU3 2TB External USB HDD DriveStation Axis Velocity

Description

I have a Buffalo DriveStation Axis Velocity 2TB external hard drive, model HD-LX2.0TU3. Main color is black, it was made in China and it comes with the power supply and USB cable so you can connect this HDD to your computer or laptop. The light on the external drive is blue, which indicates this uses USB 3.0.
If the light turns green, then you are using USB 2.0. I connected it to my Windows 10 computer and was able to format the drive. So everything has been erased and it's ready to go. It shows up under My Computer as the D drive for my computer. You might need to download software in order to access the drive.
I went to the Buffalo US website and downloaded the CD image for the utilities that speeds it up when transferring data or if I wanted to do any scheduled backup. But I would assume you just plug it in and Windows 10 at least has the built-in drivers to access the drive right away.
