    Description

    Carolina Blue Velvet/velour woman’s civil war reenactment clothing size M 10-12. The top and skirt are unlined. Made from period pattern.
    Handmade for 5’7” mother of the groom 20 + years ago. However there is a 4” hem at the bottom which could be let down for someone taller. Worn once then stored. No smells or stains. I think it is cotton but may be a blend. Probably washable but not sure how the velvet would turn out. Dry cleaning may be safest. I’m not doing that before the sale since shipping would cause wrinkling.
    The hoop is not included. Just used to show the skirt. There are several pleats. at the waist band that allow fullness at the bottom.
    It’s time to let it go. It’s never going to be used here. We portrayed civil war for a short time before becoming rev war reenactors.
