Civil War Federal Junior officer's Frock coat size 36

Description

Notably different than the enlisted coat, this fully lined frock coat has velvet lined collar and cuffs. With the finely quilted interior, shape is automatically given to the exterior by the lining. With two internal breast and two tail pockets, this coat also is offered with external half-moon breast/watch pocket. Widely used by officers through the period, it has also been seen on enlisted men who wore it without insignia.
