Description

This is a custom made ball gown for civil war reenacting.
It was my daughter's coming out dress and also her prom dress.
It is made of 100% cotton.
It is trimmed in white laces and blue ribbons.
White silk flowers adorn the front, and sleeves.
They also are positioned all the way around the skirt.
sleeves are very large double puffs with two rows of bridal lace.
The neckline has a modesty netting inside.
two rows of bridal lace and an underlayment of blue sheer ribbon are on the neck.
There is a row of bead trim on the very top of the neckline.
The lacing in the back are blue.
The bodice is boned at the point area.  There is boning along side the eyelets in the back. There is short boning on side seams.
It is hand washable but we remove the flowers first and sew them back.
skirt is cartridge pleated.   The reticule is matching.
Shoes are ballet style leather upper and soles.  size 8.5-9
bust 31" a white panel insert in the back would allow a larger bust and laces would be looser if added.
