This period reenactment dress is new construction made of cotton blend fabric in medium navy solid.   Dress is intended to represent a casual day-dress of the period.  The bodice is darted at the front and is lined with a navy cotton.  It closes right over left with blue buttons.  There is a hook/eye at the waist.  Sleeves feature drop-shoulder seams and open in the period's bell-shape style.  Neck and waistline are trimmed with a blue fabric cording.  The skirt is knife pleated at the front and sides with cartridge pleats in the back.  It is handstitched tightly to the bodice.   Dress will best fit a 40-42 inch full bust and 32-33 inch waist allowing some ease.   Approximate shoulder to shoulder measurement is 17 inches with an additional 3 inch drop on the sleeve.  Bodice measures 16.5 inches nape to waist.  Skirt measures 42 inches from waist to hem at front and will taper to an additional 3 inches of length at the back.  Circumference at hemline is 172 inches.  Bottom of dress is serged but not hemmed so that you can customize it easily.  Sales are final.  Please feel free to ask questions before buying.
Optional bust pads will be included.  These can be used to soften the silhouette of the bodice.  They pin into the armhole seam allowance.
