For Sale.....     Fristam FP4001-280 food grade centrifugal pump with stainless steel cover and stainless steel impeller  with a Baldor Chemical Processing Corrosion Protected Baldor 50 HP, 3 phase electric motor, CP4115T. This is an auction purchase.  I am told this item came from a TYSON FOODS affiliated chicken operation and that it was purchased for a specific food processing operation that either never got off the ground or was abandoned shortly after introduction.  Item has apparently set in storage for an extended period.  This may account for visible rust where paint is missing as well as what appears to be a couple broken off pieces of cast iron cooling fin on the motor, or so appears the case in one of the pictures.
Item is currently being stored outdoors but seller will attempt to get item tarped and inlet/outlet covered soon.   Impeller shaft turns freely/smoothly with no bearing/sleeve noise.
This item has not been tested since purchase but at buyer request, sell will arrange to have item tested prior to buyer pickup.
Inlet/outlet size (see pictures) I think was around 6 inches and 4 inches, outside diameter.
Item is about 43 inches long and probably about 22 inches tall.  Weight is presumed to be about 1000 pounds based on a similar item listed at auction number

.  Item has not been weighed and exact weight is unknown.
Buyer must determine if item is suitable for your needs.  Clearly, this item could be adapted to function in
a fountain or recirculating water application where a very large quantity of clear/trash free water is being moved or recirculated.   Whereas some trash pumps with 6.5 HP gas motor and 3" discharge are capable of moving over 250 gallons a minute, seller estimates this item may be capable of moving in excess of 400, 500, even 600 gallons per minute due to the HP size of the motor and larger diameter of the inlet opening.  But, this is an opinion only.  Do your own research.

number, same pump on a 40 HP Baldor motor is listed for over K.  It is supposed to be a new surplus item.   Per an internet search, I found the cost of a new 50 Horsepower Baldor 3 phase motor alone to be in excess of k.  My listed price for the entire unit is considerably less than that.

Bearing lubricant....   Exxon Polymer EM or equivalent electric motor lubricant.
Item is located about 75 miles south, south east of Kansas City, MO, just outside the town of Windsor, MO.  Zip code of Windsor is 65360.  Buyer will need to pick up item in person and payment may be made via Paypal at time of pickup or can be made by/in $ at time of pickup.  Seller will assist with loading if required.
Seller is a licensed retail vendor with the state of MO.  MO buyers will be required to pay sales tax unless buyer can provide seller with tax exempt certificate.   Buyer does not know which states require ebay to automatically collect sales tax.
