    Blue Spinel.  This is not CZ, this material has all the same  properties as the natural Spinel.
    The RI or Refractive Index is 1.761 to 1.763.
    The cut is a Square Portuguese, the pavilion  or bottom is cut in a classic Portuguese design and the top of the stone is cut  with a modified scissors design.   Beautiful color and looks more like the famous Santa Maria Aquamarine from  Brazil. Cut to absolute critical angles for maximum brilliance. Any dark colors seen in the photos are only external reflections and are not inside the stone. The stone was cut with a pendant in mind... Realistic size  10.85mm ( Less that the thickness of a sheet of printing paper to be an11mm size  stone ) with that very expensive look and will make a gorgeous piece of jewelry. The stone is extremely brilliant.
