Stunning genuine sterling silver frame that is destined to become a treasured family heirloom. This sterling silver frame will never need polishing and will retain its brilliant luster due to the factory applied lacquer finish. This frame features the classic E.H. Shepard Winnie the Pooh as were used in the original A.A.Milne books and not the later Disney characters. The frame has deeply embossed figures of Pooh at each corner. Each of the four corners features a different depiction of Pooh and his honey pot. There are also finely embossed honey pots and bees around the frame as we all know how much Pooh Bear loves his honey. Subtle touch but great craftsmanship. There is also a section on the lower front of the frame for engraving should the new owner choose to do so.  The back is finished wood with a folding leg to support the frame and a wooden clip that secures the wood back to the sterling frame.  Frame measures 41/2" x 3 ½” on the outside frame. The usable picture space is 3 ¾” x 21/2".  The bottom of the front edge of the frame is marked "Sterling Lunt Disney". If there is a special baby arriving soon, you will not find a better gift. Superb quality all around. Brand new in the original Lunt box with the E.H. Shepard illustrations. This frame is no longer made by Lunt and this one is brand new.
