This is a very warm and semi heavy cavalry style bib shirt made from 100% wool. It is a dry clean only item.It has the 11 button front flap and two button closure cuffs. Blue in color that is similar to blue jean color.
This listing is for a period piece of clothing from the old west. We are not experts on the era so please ask questions before you buy. All of the clothing from the old west served many purposes including work wear during the day and the same piece of clothing may have been worn to church on sunday. Because the clothing had to be very versatile on account of the folks couldnt afford a closet full of clothing, a lot of it is loose fitting and slightly oversized compared to the skin tight clothing of modern day. If this is the first piece of period clothing from this era, please dont imagine it will fit like your under armor workout shirt or youe bikini . A few years ago (4 or 5) we had a store that sold old west back to civil war period items. We no longer carry them so these are the last of them. We just unpacked them from their boxes, hung them on hangers and took pictures so they are wrinkled. We recommend that any new clothing that you buy be washed before wearing as all of the fabrics that are used to made clothing overseas is treated with chemicals to prevent them from mildewing and rotting in the wet environment during the shipping process. Please pay attention to the labels as some of the items are marked as dry clean only.
