    Description

    You are viewing a lovely reproduction pink wool mantle (fitted shawl) lined with bright green tissue silk taffeta and trimmed with black silk velvet.  This garment was directly taken from an 1858 Godey's Lady's Book pattern but instead of trimming it with lace, I looked at original mantles and decided to trim it with velvet ribbon instead.  It is a one size fits most-it fits people who typically wear a small, and it fits up to XL.
