UNDERSLEEVES 1840s-1860's Victorian Civil War White Cotton Antique Buttons New

New pair of reproduction 1800's style under-sleeves, or sleeve jockeys. These are sized for an adult or teen. These are new and have never been used. Perfect design for wearing under most sleeve styles.
The under-sleeves are made of washable sort white 100% cotton with lace trimming. The single row of floral lace trim on the sleeve is 2 1/4" wide and matching lace covers the cuff.  The button cuffs close with elegant black glass (also known as "French Jet") buttons  with a sparkling flower and crescent moon design.
The top edge is turned to form a casing. Typically the sleeves were held in place with ribbon or cord run through the casing of the sleeve and tied. It can be difficult for today's woman, who often does not have help to dress, to tie the sleeves. In that case, I suggest using a length of elastic to hold them up, the elastic can be pinned with a small safety pin to allow for easy adjustment and used by more than one lady. I will supply both a length of ribbon and a length of elastic for your use.
The under sleeves are 17" long.   The undersleeves are 15" around. The buttoned cuffs are 6" The cuffs can be adjusted by changing the placement of the buttons. The 100% linen undersleeves are completely washable.
